Happy Autumn, Folks
Here in Southeast Tennessee it has been a BEAUTIFUL autumn. God has given us an early change of colors. The leaves usually don’t start turning colors until after Halloween. Several of our maple trees began turning the first week of October! It’s a very difficult year as I listen to my colleagues from both Southeast Tennessee and Northwest Georgia. They are surviving and doing exactly what their school systems tell them. You know what? I am so proud of them! God has given me the opportunity to keep homeschooling my blessed children and devote myself to my own professional development. I had not treated myself to enhancing neither my pedagogue nor my Spanish content since 2006. I have also completed an awesome Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) course with a 120- hour Master TEFL Expert Teacher. In Georgia, I have held certification for teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) since 1995. As we have said since March of 2020, “We will persevere and get through this together.” Once again, I’m so proud of my colleagues working with Face to Face and online teaching in the classroom. Keep up the good work. |
